Tested Firedancer on a midsize validator in Frankfurt for 6 weeks. CPU usage roughly 40% lower than Solana Labs client at same load, but memory spikes are worse — peaked at 380 GB during the last congestion event. Stable otherwise. Worth the switch IMO.

ETH Pectra ended up shipping 8 of the 11 proposed EIPs. EOF got punted again, which honestly is fine — it wasn't ready. The validator UX improvements alone made the fork worth it for solo stakers.

Did the math on power costs at my facility: 0.041 USD/kWh, rigs at 17 J/TH, current network difficulty. Payback at $95k BTC is roughly 14 months excluding heat reuse. Heat reuse to greenhouses cuts that to ~10. Happy to share the spreadsheet. Source?
